It is integrated nicely into the cargo a rea and doesn't take up hardly any space. However, it isn't cheap and it you can get a much more powerful portable compact air compressor for a lot less. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟏𝟎 𝐒 𝐏𝟑𝟎𝟎 (Pangea Green over Acorn/Lunar)

Its decent - if not a little unintuitive to use with its one-knob operation. The space it occupies is pretty minimal.
Also, I wish there was a master power switch for it somewhere - during our long road trips multiple times, items in the cargo area have shifted and pushed the knob and activated the compressor while we were driving - causing my wife and I to look at each other and go "What the F*** is that?!" We ended up having to put a pillow over it to keep the button from being pressed when hitting bumps. 2022 Defender 110 SE P400 Tasman Blue Expedition and Cold weather package 2003 Hummer H1 P400 Firehouse Red 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser |

another option is to mount it between the spare wheel and outside rear door. An ARB product.

Lucas a few Aussie owners have fitted the ARB twin compressor under the bonnet, I would check the duty cycle period on the OEM v ARB, especially if airing up after some beach work, how long will it last! The duty cycle on the ARB is full time. It can run constantly. It will shut off one Compressor if it gets too warm while the other one does the work.
I once used it to keep my tires from deflating from a stick puncture while driving home from the trail. Ran for an hour without even a hiccup. My alternator was not happy however. 2022 Defender 110 SE P400 Tasman Blue Expedition and Cold weather package 2003 Hummer H1 P400 Firehouse Red 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser |
