Try adding a temporary additional ground, prior to that you can try a continuity check on that pin.
LED’s (and associated components) are sensitive to grounding issues or voltage fluctuations, so the ground is a likely possibility that it has a high continuity reading and is common. Also worth checking the rear grounds for the rear lighting loom on the transfer box. |

I'm not great with electrics so sorry for the daft questions. Is it just a case of checking that the earth connections are secure correctly?
Also, is it easy enough to add an additional earth? How would I go about it? |

Hi, curious if you found a solution? I have the exact same problem. If I have heating hot it stops buzzing quicker.

When the indicators are buzzing, try switching the hazards on and off a few times to see if it changes. The indicator relay is fed through contacts on the hazard light switch that in my case caused extra resistance which was just enough to start the relay chattering (buzzing). If it changes the buzzing then the hazard light switch is the culprit.
I found that - temporarily - switching the hazards on and off again a few times cleaned the contacts. But a replacement switch solved the problem completely. Dave Green Goddess - 1998 Defender 110 300tdi |

Recently swapped all indicators to LED and had a buzzing noise on the relay. Bizarrely this was only the case when the engine was running, if done on ignition it was the normal tick noise. Referred this back to the supplier of the lights kit, Wipac sent a new relay and the problem was resolved.
