I may have the very thing, let me find it and grab a picture for you.
It came with a 200tdi engine I have but may be out of a discovery rather than a defender, presumably they are different? 1996 300Tdi Defender 110 |

I think the disco ones are different, but not completely sure. If you can see what you have that would be great, Thanks.

Late Disco ones are different, early ones may be similar. Bined a heap before I moved.

This is the style I need:
Drain valve is in the lid, that is the bit that has rusted out on mine. So I suppose even a lid on its own would be fine, with or without the valve as I will seal it up anyway. Thanks |

I have a feeling that I have one of those in excellent near new condition stashed away in the spare parts cave, left over from a hare-brained scheme I have a few decades ago. I'll have a look over the weekend.

The cover your after looks very similar to a 300tdi one, could be another option.

What I have is not the same as that, the filter forms the end not a separate end section. Click image to enlarge 1996 300Tdi Defender 110 |

Is this what you need? If so PM me an offer...
Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Amazingly it only took me five minutes to find it in my garage but it's then taken me three hours to try to get the expletive up-and-over door back on its runners and closed! For some reason the little lifting wires decided to come off their bobbins allowing the door to skew and come off its guides. Absolute nightmare wrestling a heavy door in the dark to get it shut. I hate up-and-over doors! |
