Rover V8 3.5 DIY rebuild + MegaJolt
We've just finished our diy rebuild of a Rover V8 3.5. The crank went off for a professional regrind, the block was rebored and cleaned and the heads were cleaned and pressure checked.

I bought a full engine rebuild kit from a well known supplier with 9.35:1 pistons (up from the 8.13:1) - 99% of it was good but the rocker cover gaskets and a couple of other small bits were substituted with genuine Land Rover items.

I also did the Range Rover exhaust upgrade I documented in another thread and added a MegaJolt to control the sparks.

Engine fires up and restarts instantly and is much happier. We included the extra temperature sensor for the MJ to provide some cold timing adjustment. I'll get some rolling road data but things look and sound very promising.
