Due to a change in circumstances I will need to part with my Defender 90. The following info hopefully shows I had full intention of keeping this for a long time but alas it's not to be.
65 Reg Defender 90 XS in Aintree Green with just 14,500 miles. I am the third owner but like me, one of the previous owners only had it a short time. It was once owned by a JLR dealer owner who I believe was the first owner.
* Full service history
* Brand new factory premium leather interior - tan/black. I had this interior sourced from Phil/OEM Developments. I've only covered 1500 miles in them and as such, the interior smells like factory fresh new
* It was optioned with the Silver Accent package, silver roof, grille, etc, which I had the selling dealer paint to Aintree green. The safari windows and windscreen had to come out which I then ordered new seals to be used and while in there, tidy anything up that was needed. Figured might as well replace new factory seals to be safe.
* New Goodyear Wrangler Adventure were also fitted once I got it as the original tyres were still on
* Wheel alignment was carried out shortly after taking delivery to ensure all was well and peace of mind knowing the tyres were new and not wanting uneven wear
* This one didn't come with carpets, which I wanted, so fitted factory carpet as well
* This example truly looked as fresh as they come but as with all Defenders, there is always fettling to be done - replaced any nut/bolt/fastener that showed signs of wear with factory parts. i.e. new wiper arms, replaced all wheel bolts with factory parts etc. I am bit OCD so needless to say I made LR parts quite happy over these last few months!
* It's been to SVS Land Rover for a health check shortly after I took delivery to ensure all was well and nothing was found. The tech working on it stated it was one of the nicest and cleanest examples he's come across.
