I have the same wing mirrors and they work fine, so it's probably an install issue.
I seem to remember that when I fitted them I had to wire them into the alarm ECU, which I expect controls the lights when you lock/unlock. I'm guessing you might not have plugged it back in properly or maybe nicked something. The lights come on and off with the door switches making/breaking the earth connection for the lights, so probably don't need the ECU to be doing anything to work. |

Cheers Trev, I’ve wired as per Optimill instructions, I’ll take another look. Funny thing is they are coming on when the doors are opened.

That's why I think it's the connection to the ECU that's the problem. The doors have a physical switch to earth the connection and turn the lights on, the ECU is needed to do that job when the doors are all closed.
I'm assuming the puddle lights come on when unlocking and it should be the same wire that's doing the interior lights, so I think you should check that connection. I always use these when splicing stuff inside the truck: https://www.wago.com/gb/electrical-interco...installers Mainly because I'm never sure I'm going to get it right and also I don't fancy setting fire to my Landy with a soldering iron. Basically I'm incompetent. |

Thanks again, to be clear the puddle lights and the courtesy lights only come one when I open any door.
They stay on and go out at the same time, so when locking the car they all go out on the timer so about 30 seconds after locked or that could be after the doors are closed. Cheers |

They should also come on when you unlock the truck with the fob, so I think the problem is definitely where you spliced into the ECU. I think the wire colour you want differs between models (Puma V's others). I can take a picture of mine for you, but not until Saturday I'm afraid.
Edit: Mine's a 2.4 Puma. |

Click image to enlarge This is what mine looks like. I bought their wiring loom at the same time, so if you didn't these wire colours might not actually be relevant. At the ECU I've spliced the purple wire with the purple on the loom and the purple and white on the ECU with the purple and white on the loom. Hope this helps. |
