IID4 has damaged my HVAC!!!
Hi Everybody,
I have both an Original Bosch VCI working with a Regular independent account on Topix and also I have a IID4 (I use it to reed live parameter and to modding the CCF).
On my L663 Hybrid P400e in august I have modified this CCF parameter (I always use a BSU when modding CCF):
- MultiCAN717 FrontBeltMinder
- MultiCAN770 RemoteRelease Tailgate
The procedure was done ok with no error.
Immediately after upload the CCF modded with IID4 I have lock the door and wait until 3 minutes, then I unlock and switch on the ignition.
Everything seems ok.. but…
After one day come out the problem…!!!
The EV mode result unavailable and the DTC “B1DC5-93 High Voltage Coolant Heater - No operation” come out.
I’ve tried to reset the HVAC it with VCI and Topix with not results.
I have used Topix with this two tools:
- HVAC - Unlock High Voltage Coolant Heater - G3204479 - v9.0
- HVAC - Clear Event Data - G3290956 - v1.0
With not result.
When the problem come out I don’t connect that the problem on the High Voltage Coolant Heater is related to the CCF modding…
So I contact my Land Rover dealer.
The problem is solved by the Dealer. It was necessary change the High Voltage Coolant Heater.
Two days ago I have modified the CCF (I’d like to disable the fake motor sound)
MultiCAN-584 NextGenPwrTrnSQ - set: Not Fitted
MultiCAN-585 ActSndDesignPwrlvl - Set: Not Fitted
And now… here again.... The DTC “B1DC5-93 High Voltage Coolant Heater - No operation” come out again!!!!!!

Before I bought the IID4, I have modded the CCF al lot of time on my P400e using a Pathfinder with no problem.
The problem was done using the IID4....

Any idea how to solve it???
Maybe an hardware reset of the High Voltage Coolant Heater?
But How??
I don’t want to change another High Voltage Coolant Heater….…

Problems with the HV coolant heater are quite common - I’d be surprised if it’s related to the IID tool… Cheers, David
Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8.

l assume my D250 3.0 Commercial doesn't have this pre heater as it's the base specification. How would l know if it was fitted?

It’s only on hybrid models I think, to provide cabin heat in EV mode.

I know...
but the problems come out (both time) exactly when I modding the CCF.....

The first time, ok, I think that I was unlucky....
But the second time...
No way...
There is a connection between the CCF modding and the HVCH Failure...!!!
