Hi,
Not tdci, but I have been recently using the millers ecomax in my td5 after reading previous threads on here, only in every few tanks or so and I always fill up at a local BP with standard diesel. Not sure if I really have noticed any difference to be honest, but maybe it takes time...๐ค I have only used a couple of shots so not long at all really. 2004 Defender 90 Td5 CSW 2002 Discovery 2 td5 GS (gone) 1994 Defender 90 300Tdi CSW (gone) |

It is not magic, but it does what it says, cleans fuel pumps and injectors and improves the cetane count. (Fuel cetane is a measure of how quickly a fuel ignites in a diesel engine) Keep using it for it does work. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

I use millers ecomax each time I add diesel, then once a year use a bottle of Forte Specialist Vehicle Diesel Injector Cleaner. You can add the whole 400ml bottle of forte to a tank of 40Litres, then run down to low before refilling with diesel, or fill a new fuel filter with the forte, change to new filter, then add rest to tank. This puts the undiluted forte through the injectors, giving them a good clean.
My experience with forte injector cleaner, on both diesel and petrol engines has been very good with noticeable differences on engines with high mileage. The millers also shows improvements in my defender 2.2 |

Millers is good stuff, try to use it permanently as specified as that keeps the fuel quality steady.
If you do have to miss out using it a little it wonโt do any harm, but I try to use it ongoing in the specified about. Which is 25ml to 25L or 50ml to 50L. If you use it for the first time you can use a little more of the Millers.

Brilliant thanks for the advice, Is it worth Running the forte injector cleaner first? and then Millers Eco as a continuous thing? or Just try Miller first?

Run the forte first, then millers on each fill, then in 12 months when you do service forte again.
