Hi I’m trying to connect in some Audison AP1 tweeters into the existing wiring. The male connector looks as below?

Anyone done this before?

To be honest it’s worthwhile running new wiring and leaving the factory wiring in situ, because it’s dia is quite small from the factory it isn’t designed to take much load.
It’s AC voltage, but all the same the factory wiring is only really designed to take relatively low wattage.

It depends on what power source you are intending to use, the factory system even for the factory fitted speakers is mot designed for anything really beyond 50wrms per channel.
