My Fobco has a single phase washing machine motor from the 1960's on it. My grandfather was a Director at Hoover and had one of the apprentices fit it.

Its never missed a beat. Lovely machine and also sounds 'proper'. Its a a great complement to my Myford ml7 lathe. Thumbs Up Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.
