Replacement OEM 2010 ICE Head Unit. Any recommendations?
Hello All.

My D90 has the original 2010 stereo, which is awful! I’d like swap out for something newer, and a unit that is a simple replacement rather than any re-wire! Ideally something with DAB and Bluetooth to connect my iPhone for Spotify, etc and using the existing six speakers.

Can anyone suggest a make and model? Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

Important Info
Sorry, should have said. Hoping to find something that’s single DIN only.

Hi, I've had a Pioneer S720DAB for a year.
Got it for the DAB feature mainly, but it has CD and plays FLAC files from a memory stick. (FLAC is much better than MP3 sound quality)
I used a powered signal splitter with the original antenna, and it works fine. Connects2 CT27AA136 DAB Splitter
The connects 2 harness adapter made it plug and play, CT20LR06

This was to replace the original Alpine CD radio and is a big improvement in sound over that.
The only slight issue is navigating file selection from a memory stick. I guess all single din's will be like this when you've not got a large touch screen to scroll through.

Would recommend this if single din is a priority. Great for around £140

I have one of these in and love it. DAB is through and app on my CarPlay but works perfectly well

There are quite a few options out there.

I personally have the Pioneer AVH7200DAB, which is 1 DIN but has the advantage of having almost a 2 DIN screen size, there is the new Stinger Heigh 10 but that is 2 DIN and integrated well.

These are the upper end of the market, especially so the Stinger.

There are quite a few mid range options, if you would like time to go for these then options like those above are well worth looking at, even if just for the time being.
The choice is yours really.

I did used to have Kenwood, which I was very happy with but they concentrated on 2DIN, and I wanted a 1 DIN flip out, so went for the Pioneer and have been very happy with it.

It really depends on what you are looking for, all of them will power the existing speaker system just fine as there isn’t much load on there, but SQ is going to be lacking.
