110 Boot Space
I never thought to look...just assumed....but I was surprised to find out my 110 has a smaller usable boot base space than my previous Velar. Only came to light when I tried to fill it with some floor standing items I regularly carry. I think the rear seats are also angled more back too.

The New Defender 110 has a smaller usable boot space than the Freelander 2, I once drove !!!!

I have the 90, the 110 has acres of boot space Very Happy

Excluding the tyre on the door the Velar is actually a bit longer than the 110.

Defender 110 - 4758mm

Velar - 4797mm

I suppose they had to fined a way to justify a 130 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue
23.5MY 90 D250 X-Dynamic SE, Pangea Green - Gone
22MY 110 D250 XS Edition, Hakuba Silver - Gone
21MY 90 D200 S, Tasman Blue - Gone

Yes, compared to my D3, the boot in 110 one is a hand's breadth shorter, in the D3 things rolled freely around there in every curve, but here too, and my dear beagle called Din doesn't even notice it...and that little bit less makes it aesthetically charming...and really a little bit more manageable...so for me...it's perfect...and I like big boots...I don't have a 90, which was my passion without a doubt, just for that reason!! Defender 110 SE I6 D 23MY

I was shocked at the beginning. ( coming from a Caravelle no boot is big enough Smile)
It’s not deep. They have preferred to give more leg room to the rear passenger.
It would have been nice to have an adjustable rear bench.
However there is more vertical space. And it’s all very usable. I have managed 6 large (airplane) trolley. And 3 small cabin trolley. At that point I have stopped saying the boot is small.
