Have been busy again with the Defender. Recently fitted 16'' Twisted Sport alloys (need a spare!), the DRL front bumper, a Twisted steering guard, full set of 95mm Perei rear led lights and swapped the front led side/indicator lights to standard with clear indicators. Have some Focal ES100K front components to fit but I am missing the grills/surrounds for the tweeters which is proving an issue to find replacements
Next on the list is sorting the suspension and brakes. Undecided between Fox or the Twisted set up. Brakes wise probably braided hoses, new fluid and grooved discs/uprated pads.  Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

Posted these on another thread, but some latest pics. Next plan is for new shocks/springs, either Twisted set up or Fox/Alive, undecided yet. Also planning on a double din conversion and leather dash sections and some matching Recaros/new cubby. Defender is getting used a bit more recently as another 5-6 month wait for new car at least having ordered in July last year

Done a few more jobs to the Defender over the last few months. Added new Twisted wing top/side vent grills. Had leather dash tops and grab handles fitted in black leather with oxblood stitching. Finally a double din conversion with rear camera.
Next up is a new Mota-Lita steering wheel and cubby box with oxblood stitching again with matching seat belts in oxblood. Final interior job will be alcantara headlining/a pillar trims and black leather Recaros/full carpet set. Long term plans possibly LT1/LS3 conversion. Watch this space. More work just completed. Retrimmed seats in leather, lower dash binnacle trim to match rest of the dash, gear gaiters, cubby box and full carpet set fitted. Also converted the seats to heated using original buttons (front screen and wing mirrors next) for a factory look.
In addition, finished off sound proofing trans tunnel and remaining bits of seat box I couldn't do with the seats in. The oxblood colour on the pictures is off, looks too red - is a deep burgundy. Finally had all of the Twisted wing/wing top grills and steering guard re-powder coated and a new Defender badge on the bonnet to tidy the exterior up. Next up will be a black alcantara roof lining with sun visors in black/oxblood leather and the rear bulkhead sound proofed/covered in black carpet as I don't really fancy removing it. Few other bits to do cosmetically (wing mirrors painted body colour, NAS rear step, new rear tub seal) but it's nearing completion..
