I have a Puma 48 spline steering wheel for sale, what makes it an XS one?

That one should not fit your 2015 as yours will / should have a different fitment on the back due to DSC!
I have an XS leather that is 2015 fitment in my storage. |

Best way to be sure is have a look to see if your existing wheel has the two pins on the back or not

It is off a 2011 Puma, but LR were never very constant with part fitment.
I posted it at 7am yesterday before work, so if it doesn’t fit I have had a couple of other members enquiring on it so someone will have a home for a nice condition steering wheel. Ride like you stole it!! If I’m not on a bike it’s because only a 4x4 will do… 2011 2.4 Puma 90 HT |

All 2015 and 2016 model year Defenders have DSC, and have a different cancelling/steering angle position sensor drive on the back of the wheel compared to previous wheels. A pre 2015 model wheel won't fit, the cancelling pins will clash with those on the column. https://www.web-rover.co.uk/articles-steeringwheels.html 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Thanks for the info guys, I received the steering wheel today in verybnice condition. unfortunately it is different as mentioned. A friend is talking about having it so no loss however if anything changes I shall put it up for sale on here. Cheers

Oldyellar. Sorry to hear that. I do have a DSC wheel that I was keeping for my Puma, but which I have just sold. It is no use on my tdi's so would be good to move it on now.
However, I have just had a look and it is mint, if not unused. Can't honestly remember where I bought it but I did get a couple of take-off bits from Urban and/or Twisted way back when everyone was upgrading! I'm not greedy but I would like close to it's value and sold eBay prices for really good examples are quite eyewatering so if you are vaguely interested why not let me have a PM with your budget and then I can take some pics to see if we are in roughly the same space
