From reading similar posts the go to culprit for loss of power on a TDCi appears to be the VCV.
Water and dirty fuel are the enemy of the TDCi engine and look as if they cause a fair few problems. I did read a post somewhere on the internet where a guy removed his VCV, cleaned it with brake cleaner, gave it a blast of WD40, reinstalled it and solved his erratic power issues. Jim |

I think VCV too, often will cut out at lowest revs, say at a junction but then restart and do it again somewhere else. NEVER SURRENDER! ⛽️🛢️👨🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧

Thanks all, I have read up on previous posts re the VCV and it seems to be the faulty item. Euro-Leafing to infinity and beyond.....
