Locking wheel nuts
I know a few owners who’ve had spare wheels stolen - had mine taken a while back even though it had two LR locking nuts on it.

Any recommendations on decent wheel nuts? I’m struggling to find them for my 110.

Links to the correct ones and suppliers would be appreciated

Thanks.

I've got a spare set of original wheel nuts off my MY24 110 if of any use. Needed different ones when I changed the wheels over

Have used the below who have been really good otherwise -

The LR locking wheel nuts seem to be no deterrent to the thieves. My spare wheel was stolen a while back from my old Defender.

lt had a locking nut, but there's a tool you can buy that removes them, so hardly worth bothering.

You might have to go to LR for them. I'd also buy a wheel lock. Thumbs Up Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.

Fit a lock and never rely on locking wheel nuts. They deter nobody these days. MY25 90 D350 X-Dynamic HSE in Silicon Silver and coil sprung

Thanks all. I definitely don’t want LR ones as they are as good as useless.

I’m actually wondering if it’s worth removing the wheel and bracket and blanking them over but think they look a little strange.

All locking wheel nuts are useless. It's easy to buy removal kits, which all the thieving scumbags have.

Keep it simple. Just get a wheel lock so they move on to the next victim . Thumbs Up Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.

And do yourself a favour and ditch the lockers on the wheels too. Nobody needs to be messing with the stupid locking wheel nut on the hard shoulder.

Or buying a used car for your son (not too expensive, but still with the 'looks') only to find the special key is nowhere to be found.

Obviously the wise dad then goes and buys a special tool to remove the offending lugnut - as well as the replacement normal lugnut and swaps it out to avoid messing around with this in the middle of Westheimer Road (notorious large road in Houston) at 02:00 AM on Friday night, while the Son 'drops of' the GF in dad's Range Rover.

Will never happen... the wife said.
