Some of them have the 7WMK code, so are for WMIKs, i.e. Dana upgraded rear axles LR Workshop

It's a steep price, although unique and potentially rare. Wonder if any were bought by Lebanon as they have 1/4 of the WMIK fleet! LR Workshop

Often the mod vehicles and parts have sale restrictions.
Wording like not for export, or export license required. All need identity check on buyer. I just assume it is the UK ex military dealers that buy them up and sort out any paperwork and where they can go for any foreign military or non military buyers. The prices are currently significantly higher than 3-4 years ago. In the sale was a Wolf 110, with many parts missing - wheels, gearbox, dash, roof, and engine parts. There were a bunch of bits in the back including the back axle - hammer price £7k. That was the price of a decent runner a few years back. Do the WMIKs have air lockers? |

The RWMIK+ does, not sure about EWMIK and original WMIK
https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/g...2B__FS.pdf Dunsfold seems to think their EWMIK's air lockers are taken from the RWMIK+ https://www.dunsfoldcollection.co.uk/colle...monstrator LR Workshop Find a Defender's history and spec: https://defender.lrworkshop.com |

Interesting that the brochure for the RWMIK+ states that it has a "Land Rover 2.8ltr 300 TDI" engine. I didn't think that Land Rover themselves actually built any of those.
Also worth noting for those who fancy collecting one that it needs a Cat C or C1 licence to drive it. |
