I have always used Exmoor trim foam and have always been satisfied with it. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

Thanks for the response gil. Is there any bonus points for them as they are £20 odd dearer than anyone else’s. Didn’t know if there was something different to them?

If they are better quality to the rubbish LR use, it will be £20 well spent

Has anybody tried one of the all makes or Britpart ones out of interest?

Thanks 34064, that’s good to know.
Just for reference I am going to change mine as the edges are a little less rigid and I am going to take the outer cover off to retro fit heater elements. Has anyone used the all make ones or have any experience changing theirs out? |

I've had Exmoor trim foams in mine for at least 5 years and they are still very comfortable / in good condition to this day. I also retrimmed my seats with Exmoor trim leather kit and the material cracked after less than a year. They exchanged them without quibble so perhaps a bad batch.
That said, I had Britpart seats/foams in my Series 2 for 8 years and they were also very comfortable. ![]() ![]() |

Thank you for the response.
Do you guys feel there is any noticeable difference in comfort between the Britpart/exmoor/original foams? |

Very noticeable improvement between knackered old seat foam and my exmoor trim foams. I can drive the Defender all day and still find them comfortable. BORG - Bucks & Oxon 4x4 Response Group
