The existing motor was fine so just reused it.
The genuine JLR wheel boxes and drive cable came from https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/275341535654 Could possibly get them cheaper elsewhere but it was convenient... Advice... A second pair of hands is handy to act as the gofer! It's really not that bad, I think it took me around 2.5 hours start to finish having never done it before. Just have to remove some trim panels such as the radio surround, a load of screws and some of the heater/blower pipework behind the dash > 110 XS Double Cab > Instagram @simonlanemind |

The aluminium fairlead/hawse has been looking more worn than warn recently after the lacquer chipped/peeled and it corroded leaving it
So replaced with a black anodized version to tidy up the front end. Just need to dust off the cobwebs now Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge If anybody is after the old one/can revive it drop me a message Click image to enlarge > 110 XS Double Cab > Instagram @simonlanemind |
