Aftermarket Parts
Having had a little update on my order yesterday - I've gone from not modifying to - ok what shall I buy to put on the first week.....

Then this morning an email from Storm Accessories about their Defender range

So am only looking at a few cosmetic bits - side steps & spoiler being the main 2, is there any brands to avoid? Any reviews on good ones without spending a fortune? I've seen the side steps range in price so much, I'd like something that won't break the bank but also won't break my foot if it rusts and falls off. Vehicle is a D300 90HT HSE X-Dynamic and am pretty bad for having a vehicle 12 months and then getting a new one so long term durability isn't normally my 1st concern with modifications

Cheers Andy

l fitted aftermarket side steps which cost £200 on Ebay. The construction is the same, the only difference being the genuine step seems to be cast aluminium and the copy is some kind of ABS.

The tubes and brackets were the same. l know this because l since bought a set of second hand genuine side steps and swapped them over.

I'm currently looking for an expedition rack and side ladder for my 110, anyone fitted either from aftermarket source, if so where did you purchase?

Also looking at the steel rear fit ladder that Safety Devices sell, anyone have one? Ease of use? It does get narrow at the top..
