Iphone 4S - Siri
Its very very good, the speech rec is much better than i was anticipating.

Couple of questions to ask it if you have one..


What is the meaning of life ?

Close the pod bay doors.

You can tell it who your wife, brother, mother-in-law is and then say "call my wife".

Also "Where did Lookers stocks finish today?"

Disappointed that you can't search companies, traffic, maps in UK. Rolling Eyes

I'm going to use "when's it going to snow" quite a bit in the near future!

Apple told me it will work around the end of the year. Its still a Beta version so it will get better.. Current:D4 HSE

Android already has excellent voice recognition software...The Gadet show rated it very highly and it's free.

Methinks Apple fans are bigging Siri up as it's the only thing new on the slightly outdated new 4S... Wink (I'm typing this on a McBook Pro BTW...) Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion.

batt life is bad i dont get any more than a day ie 10 hrs out of mine

thats whats putting me off it. I think they're working on a fix for that - something to do with a bug in the location services app

There was apparently a fix for the battery life issue in iOS 5.0.1. Although I've not noticed all that much difference to be honest.

I can get two days out of mine if I don't hammer it, usually over a weekend. Although during the week I have to charge it every night; battery being at about 35-40% in the evening.

Still pretty crap really though I guess...
