A/C Blower motor
Just noticing that my Blower motor for the a/c seems to be blowing very weak, is this normal or is there something I can check or do to remedy it? It does come out cold just not very strong. 2007 puma

It's on its way out and you'll be needing a new one very soon.

I recently changed out mine. Sadly, there seems to be no new stock anywhere for some reason, and no news when new ones will be available any time soon. Some vendors have it but you'll also have to buy the whole box it's in (expensive!). Lucky for me a friend of mine had to go back to the UK on some personal business and he picked one out from yard or something (the freshest one he could find) and flew it back here (the Philippines) so I could install it.

I'm actually now in search of a company that can copy / make these fan blower motors so as not to be reliant on the not so efficient supply chain of JLR.

Thank you for the reply! I guess I'll start looking for a good used one. Is it hard to replace? Is it something an armature wrench turner can do? Let me know if you start making a better version!

Also any chance you have a part number for the box?

Heater Blower Assembly, LR076707 (The whole shebang!)

Heater Blower Fan Motor, JGB500050 (Just the fan blower motor)

I feel it's easier to do on a LHD vehicle. You will have to move the coolant reservoir to get at the screws, there are three. Remover the electrical connection to the fan blower motor first.

I hope this helps. No Better Friend, No Worse Enemy
