Clutch bleeding after lay up
Ive been rebuilding my 2.4 tdci on a new chassis etc and fitted a new clutch with new release bearing + the new adaptor . Its been 7 months dry now and I cant seem to get any pressure from the master cylinder ?. Used Gunson bleeder and normal pedal method but the master doesn't gain any pressure. Decided to remove the pedal box and get it on the bench to assess and renew the master cylinder - but I can't get the pedal box out as its shoehorned in ?? ( the mats inside dont help either) .
Any guidance as what to remove in addition please much appreciated - brake pedal box ?.

On the Puma you can remove the clutch MC without taking the pedal box out.

See page 2 and page 3 of this topic. https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic71892...t=cylinder
