Strange Pivi Pro glitch?

This morning l got into the Defender and Google Maps didn't come up. So as l was late, l just used the built in nav.

Then, l couldn't get any media except the radio....all the apps had disappeared.
l did a reset which didn't help.

When l had some time l had a look at it and the vehicle had signed me out. l couldn't remember the password so reset it and then it worked, although still with no Google Maps.

Now it's asking for a 4 digit passcode every time l use the vehicle.

Google maps has reappeared as an option on the nav screen.

Now everything is working except for the fact that it forgets that l set the diamond button to swap between radio and my phone for Spotify

The only thing l did, was last night l reset my phone and deleted all tabs. Could this have had anything to do with it?

When you add your PIN is there not a box to tick to remember the code? Cheers Ian

This got me the other day. There is a box, but if you don’t tick it at the time you set a new code, you can’t retrospectively tell it to remember it!

Solution is to go through the forgotten code process and tick it. Obviously reset with your normal code.

It’s a computer at the end of the day, so will probably still be full of bugs after only 4 years of development. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV
