I have a freshly restored Bronze Green Petrol Series 3 Truck Cab but is £20,000. PM if you want details. No problem if it is out of budget.

I think you are fairly unlikely to find what you seek at the price you've stated.

Is it a swb or LWB station wagon you’re after?

SWB preferred but if a really good LWB was to appear l would take a look. The old LWB was not as large anyway.
There's a couple for sale but out of my price range. There's a few restored SWB in the £15-20,000 range but they're all at the other end of the country. l am not in a rush, and the longer it takes the more money l will have saved. l won't break my heart if l can't find one, l would like one but l am open to the later 90 or TDi as well. l do think l need a bit more money, as suggested above. I'll just have to see what happens. |

I would personally just keep watching the market especially auctions like cars and classic etc, the market value wise for classic land rovers has come down quite a bit and there are some good buys out there.
Also depends how original you want one |

Don’t quite understand, the SWB is a 7 seater and the LWB a 10 or 12 seater with 5/6 forward facing seats. I ran a petrol LWB series 3 as a family vehicle for eight years, five forward facing seats and no bench seats we filled the back with camping gear and luggage. It’s considerably bigger than a SWB. Still run a swb series 1 and a 11a along with a 110 and a 130. Series are great fun, family vehicles. Good luck with your search. |

Thank you for the recommendation.
l had a look on his site and couldn't see a red one. There's a couple for sale but both are POA. The rest are all "deposit taken" or "sorry, sold" l've emailed asking them to let me know if they get anything in that might be suitable. |

Sorry, the red one is/was still live when I looked on Car and Classic but is sold on their website.
The blue station wagon looks very original but I guess you want something that’s been restored. |

l don't mind restored or good original.
l've got a couple of offers of vehicles, one partially restored and one nice original but currently trying to figure out whether to buy a Series as a second vehicle or a Puma as a primary vehicle. lf it's the Series l end up buying, l am really looking for an original Station Wagon if possible. |
