How do you like the 90 compared to the transporter?
Have two vw’s and wondering if a 90 or grenadier would fit my fleet? |

It's plenty big enough for what we use if for, the transporter was 10 times bigger inside than we'd ever need but I'd fancied one for years.
I regularly drive from Brighton to Milton Keynes for work and the journey in the transporter whilst nice was very van like but the 90 is so quiet and lovely to drive, it doesn't handle quite as well as the transporter but I just need to adjust my driving to suit the air suspension to be honest. I did try to order a 90 before I bought the transporter but Land Rover declined my company the finance as we'd only been in business 2.5 years at that point. I really wish I'd looked at other ways to finance it now I've finally got one. The only issues I'm struggling with is the lack of side visibility and reverse parking, the sensors seem to go mad when I've plenty of room left and you can't see how far the rear wheel sticks out on the reversing camera. For side visibility - the blind spot on the 90 passenger side is huge, very easy to completely lose a car in it I retrofitted side rear windows to the transporter and bought a kombi bulkhead which sits further back than the standard steel van version, this gave good side visibility for a van. Just a comment on the rear parking sensors, they are set to react to the distance the spare wheel projects out, hence why you might think there is a lot of space still left to go until the back bumper is close to hitting anything.
