Anyone wired up a VHF neatly in the new def?
I’ve got a midland one where the controls are on the mic, so was planning to mount the box out of the way underneath the fridge / centre cubby. I’ve got a Sarek bonnet mount so was looking for any obvious grommets etc through the bulkhead (ideally passenger/left side) but nothing obvious so far… Any ideas / examples welcome! Have a look here:
https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic79746.html The steering column grommet seems to be the favourite pass through. Current vehicle: 2020 Defender 110S Gone: Defender 90 HT 200Tdi, Discovery Sport, Freelander 2 Insta: wizzardprang |

Thanks - stumbled across that thread this evening actually, not sure how I missed it.
The big grommet on the RHS isn’t exactly what I was looking for but it seems to good to pass up if I can find long enough cable Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |
