Mystery switch hole under instrument binnacle
Been poking around the instrument binnacle on my Td5 (2004 MY), and I found this hole under the binnacle. Looks standard and could fit a switch.

Any knows what would originally have been fitted? It's accessible even when the binnacle is in place.

Mine has a change over switch there for the twin tank setup.
Rocker to switch between front and rear tanks, it switches 3 solenoids to switch fuel gauge, fuel pump and fuel return valve.
Thumbs Up
