I've been impressed with Autoglass in all my recent interactions, including the last.
When my last screen was fitted the fitter damaged my scuttle plate. He fessed up straight away. AG customer service were straight in touch, arranged everything with my dealer and made the whole process of getting it repaired painless. Really impressed. Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. I'm not wrong in suggesting the cost of the vehicle should not factor into this am I?
OP seems rightfully frustrated with a chip, but has included the price of the vehicle. I'm lead to believe its just one of those potentials when driving regardless of vehicle? In my first car (a clio) I had to replace the windscreen a couple times due to stones and cracks appearing. I haven't replaced a screen since that car - Focus for nearly 10 years, Forester for 4ish years? although did get a flat the other day.... luckily it's just at the bottom of the wheel.
