My insurance documents arrived today
Going through my insurance documents today and I came across this. I suppose it's a sign of the times as I never noticed anything about electric or hybrid before,

The over the air clauses are noteworthy, I expect many are unaware of the implications. Thankfully I don’t have vehicles with any of that nonsense Very Happy

So does that mean it doesn’t cover damage from pigeon sh*t!

That the only over air thing I have a problem with.

I would be more worried about the over the air updates, you need to do what manufacturer does or no insurance on that cover 😱 Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing.

5 months after starting the search I found it, and here is the details

I read it as its breakdown, electric cars, OTA updates all as separate sections, all with immediate effect.

So you dont need to breakdown to have insurance issues after an OTA if you have not applied said OTA update. Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing.

I read it the same as Race.it. They are all separate sections and the OTA section means if you don’t keep up with manufacturers OTA updates then you are not covered.
