My new to me 24MY X-Dynamic HSE 130 D300
At last I have it in my grasp. Happy to say I managed to sell my FFRR TDV8 to a member for the trade in price, which I’ve done twice now. My dear old RR was my pride and joy but now it’s driving around the mountains of Scotland.
My new car is the L663 in Santorini black and is murdered in black all over (so I’m told). Black interior too so easy to lose in the dark I guess. It drives a treat and is so comfortable. Even more so than the RR for me. Pulls like a train too. I bought it to carry my family and their families on days out and to restaurants but also as a tow car. Unlikely to see much off road but you never know. The overhang had me concerned but it seems no more than the RR.
It has the clearview mirror, four zone climate, 11.4” screen, full TFT drivers screen, Explorer black pack incl RAI expedition rack, black side gear box, classic mud flaps, 6011 wheels in black, ext black pack, matrix LED headlamps, tow pack 2 incl advanced tow assist, ATPC, configurable terrain response, fridge, charging pad, climate pack and HUD.

I'm liking the 130 more and more. It's just the length and potential parking space issues that's giving me doubts. Also, loving in the village I do, there is no off street parking, something else to think about. Really like it though and yours looks cracking. Thumbs Up

I might see if I can borrow one for my dealer and see how we get on. Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.

Village life seems fun. The car is the same length as my L405 plus the spare wheel. Because it’s mounted quite high it has little in the way of issues when parking in front of other vehicles. Walls and vans will be more of a problem.

I’ve had the 130 nearly three months now and have to say I’m loving it. No real life size issues with parking but it does get left sticking out of some bays. Not my issue but those who paint the boxes, my wheels fit. I bought it to tow and it does that with bags of power from the D300 returning about 21/22mpg and over 32 solo. I fitted the ARB single compressor to deal with the 13PSI pressure differential between towing and solo driving to eliminate the search for air whilst in Europe. The eight seat setup works quite well with access being a little tight but doable. Once seated the rearmost row can be tight at shoulder height for three adults but put one child of belt size and that is overcome. The ACC was described by someone here as brutal due to the over enthusiastic manner in which it operated. I did tend to agree initially but it seems to have learned to soften during use and is now much better than first experienced. The Matrix lights are a constant thing of wonder how they stay on full beam without blinding others. Gripes have been minimal (as they have been with my previous four LR’s over 20 years) with just a leaky headlight and rear window washers. Everything does what it said it would and it’s all very civilised. Well done LR, another cracking car. 👍🏻
