110 Hardtop Bulkhead Rear Fan Noise and Raised Idle?

Hello,

I've a 2022 110 Hardtop D250.

After switching the ignition on I noticed a loud fan noise coming from behind the passenger seat (RHD), seemed to be from the three vent holes in the bottom of the bulkhead. Also noticed a high idle, around 900.

Fan noise kept going for a full 2hr journey, pulled in twice and locked the car etc which made no difference.

Now this morning all is back to normal, anyone any ideas what this was? Never noticed this in the last 30k miles so don't think it was DPF related.

Any ideas I'd appreciate.
