Sold my roof rack to Nellie of this parish today. My 110 now looks sort of naked, but the First Four roof bars that he gave me as part of the deal will better suit my needs Neutral Just need to paint them black first. Darren

following advice from Dave @ Ashcroft, replaced 90 gearbox oil with fully synthetic and it's like a new box. 4th used to be stiff when cold but it's perfect now ..

I'm told there will be lots of off road club activity over the plains over the Christmas period. I'll put up some details in the events folder. at the moment, 27th and 31st are looking good - details to follow.

- keep an eye on events

Plymouth to Faslane, 526 miles either motorway or fast A roads. 65-75 mph all the way and never missed a beat.

Tomorrow evening i will be doing the return leg, it would be nice to do the lot on three fills, but you it is going to be four.(Think of the Nectar points?)

Bp ultimate all the way, with a dash of two stroke just to lube her up! Thumbs Up One Life Live It, There Isn't Anything To Beat It, Even The Boss Agrees.

bp ultimate has cleaning agents (chemicals) in the mix, cleans pipes, injectors and improves economy. I don't put it on every tank, 1 in 4 but i'd use it especially on a run.

shell do a similar product (just not as good) Thumbs Up

i do put 2 stroke in but not every tank. i use mineral not synthetic. i've not had any problems except transfer box oil seal (recall) and oil seal .. but I've not noticed a massive reduction in engine tone/volume either I just think with all this bio diesel it's nice to put some real oil back in the mix.

thanks, after a few months on standard BP with 2t i am running the current tank on BP Ultimate - too early to notice any difference, only covered a few miles since fill up.

cheers BM52
