Well that’s debatable - the Octa comes in 2 versions.

The std Octa that is the cheaper option and I am sure is very capable off road (as are most LR’s) but everything is an add on extra so in its std form is probably the road going variant.

The Octa First Edition (not it’s actually name or correct title) is the “off road” version with std 20” alloys with Duratrac tyres, RAI, carbon seats and is around £15k more.

They are both nearly 7cm wider than the std Defender and there are extras that can be added increasing the cost obviously

Unless you have been to the launch it’s kind of difficult to get your head around so you will just have to wait and go to Goodwood or for them to become available

"UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you.

I am signed up to attend the event in Los Angeles in 10 days; NDA signed. To date I haven’t heard a word other than the initial acknowledgment. For those who have attended, when did you get the details? D90X 2023.5

Good day,
I’m located in Los Angeles and was wondering if you know how/where I can sign up to view the new Octa? I know they’re doing it here in LA today thru the 22nd.

I went through a dealer who in turn put it to Land Rover. On the Land Rover website there is a "do you want one" button. That may work. The LA event goes through 23 June in Culver City. D90X 2023.5

His & Hers raised air intakes !!

I have been looking for a 'off-side' (UK) raised air intake for some months , out of China.

China factories will be knocking the 'extras / replacements' of OCTA in a very short time.

So after much discussion about the 'stretched' width of OCTA, all has been revealed, Colour toned wheel arches and 'Brows' hanging from them.
