Flatdog rax with roofbox
Has anyone found a box with a good fit? Most of them look like they have recesses for the bars which won’t work with a full rack. Looking for something like 400L+

We have a Thule Pacific 200 which is 410l.
We use bolts secured in the rack t-slot and they come through the holes in the base of the roof box..
Works great Thumbs Up Cheers,

This model, which seems to have recesses for normal roof bars, or a prev one?

Hi, that's the one we use - works fine.
We don't use the clamps.
We use the 'Tule t-track adapter' with some longer bolts.
Sorry, I can't remember what size or thread they were.
Can check through the week.
See page 10 of the instructions here -

Flatdog also do some good adaptors that work with roof tents that go on top of the rack or below and give good access to the fixing plates - be worth checking them out if the Thule option doesn't work Defender 130 HCPU TD5

Yes, thats correct - they also sit flush with the top of the rack so that you can have the box or roof tent near or overhangin the edge of the roof rack if required. All a well thought out system. Defender 130 HCPU TD5
