LS3 Wildcat Conversion

Hey,

I'm wondering if anyone can help. I have an LS3 conversion on my Wildcat Defender. I'm getting an error code on the gearbox: Error 1/2. It won't reverse unless you switch it off and go from neutral to reverse. It drives well, but again, it won't go into reverse.

I've had a diagnostic on it. The components are working on it and have been isolated to the Gearbox Controller. They were cagey around me getting this part.

Does anyone know where I can get this part of its name, as it's just being described as a switchpack or gearbox controller unit? Does anyone have any experience with this?

1999 Defender 110 Td5 SW Caledonian Blue

Not seen many wildcats around Wirral.

Is there a part number on said controller? 1999 Defender TD5 110

The gear shift controller is manufactured by PCS.
I’d imagine this is at fault.
I doubt it will be the internal T43 controller at fault.
