I wonder what happens when you try and insure it?

Well if you have that kind of money, I am guessing insurance costs are not going to be a problem.

I wonder how many will be built?

Forgot to say, I strangely like it. But I have no idea how the spare wheel gets up or down off the roof rack without the use of a mobile crane on speed dial?

I think I would pass on the spare tyre. I couldn't get it into the local Waitrose Car Park.

It’s aimed at the Middle East market.

I might be a minority, but I prefer the Ineos Quartermaster’s looks but the Defender’s drive and handling. Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.

I found this in an INEOS dealership only this week.

Spare wheel mounted in the pickup bed. if you want the roller tonneau the sales guy suggested the spare wheel could go on the roof . Whistle

Unless it is sold as a different make, ie not a Land Rover and has EU Type Approval it wouldn’t be an issue. However I’d guess for the U.K. market it would need an IVA and end up on a Q plate to be legal and roadworthy. As a modification of this nature would cause the donor vehicle to loose its identity.
