It does sound good BUT remember the old saying!

Quote from that ad
Quote:

Genuine Dyneema SK60 not a cheap copy

Sale price Includes VAT please ask for a VAT reciept if you need one

10mm x 30m

7850kgs Breaking strain

So it is GENUINE Dyneema with a breaking strain of 7,850 kg

David Bowyer sells Dyneema rope and

Quote:

10mm diameter rated at 9,800 kgs

Now David is well respected, so how come his rope is almost 2,000 kg stronger??

Andy at Rufftraks imports plasma rope and the 9.5mm plasma rope is rated at 7938kgs . Smaller diameter but stronger then the genuine Dyneema rope.

So make your own mind up about the claims on ebay

What Brendan said. And Davids ropes are far less than 300 quid. Wouldn't touch that one on ebay with the proverbial bargepole.

It is always worth giving Andy at Rufftraks a phone call on 0141-563-7972 £199

or David on (0)1363 82666 £179

See if they have any offers on.

It looks like David sells SK75 and the rope in the ad is SK60. Could that could be the reason that there's a higher breaking strain?
