Hi Dan
I bought mine from here after having initially purchased one from Bulgaria 4x4 which was fake. Got my money back without a fuss so no issues.

Good old e of bay purchase.
The plate was cut from an e of bay purchase 180 x 130mm 2mm plate. The switch hole was 35mm x20mm. I cut the plate to allow me to reach the fixing bolt for the LR bracket which I fixed the B&Q angle bracket to.
Ali plate £9
B&Q bracket £3.49
Bolts M5 10mm x10 and matching nylon nuts £5

Edit: I lied. The Ali was from Amazon. 24MY D300 130 X-Dynamic HSE Santorini Black

Do you think the single is strong enough to inflate a paddle board? That was my main reason for going for a double compressor. Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.

Oh Moo I don’t know mate. I resemble a paddle board but have no experience of one. My wife’s Fiat 500 tyres (185/55/15) were way down (15 should be 32 🫢) so I came to the rescue by getting my hose out. When attached via the ARB digital tyre inflator banged the pressure up to full in less than 10 sec. They’re small tyres by comparison to the 130 but it surprised me. The compressor itself is a very sturdy bit of kit with a real quality feel. Not cheap but a feeling of good value none the less. I have to say I’m chuffed with the job and the great performance of the unit. 24MY D300 130 X-Dynamic HSE Santorini Black

I can just see her face...... Laughing

Anyway, I think I'll go double. Probably over kill for the few times we'll need it, but its belt and braces so should be OK. Thumbs Up Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.

I had a real problem with the pressure control system and replaced it via the supplier. I refitted the new parts yesterday and had exactly the same problem. Has to be my fault.
Stand back and it was so glaringly obvious I thrashed myself with a birch branch!
The chuck was mounted on the manifold as below.

It has to be mounted on the Pressure Regulating valve as below.

Now I have presets for normal driving and towing for both front and rear. I plug the hose into the chuck and attach it to the tyre valve. It then inflates/deflates to the preset pressure without me bending my poor old back. It then tells me on my phone when it’s done. The cost is ridiculous but that’s what birthdays are for. 👍🏻🥳 24MY D300 130 X-Dynamic HSE Santorini Black

Hi Moo I had a tyre compressor in the car mainly for the occasionally inflatables and found it slow. I was then shown a high flow pump by a fellow beach goer it was only a cheap thing off amazon which delivers air volume over pressure specifically for large inflatables it inflated a large dingy and paddle board really quick. The tyre pump took ages and got really hot doing so.

I'll try and find the link, was only about £20. 110 MY23.5 X Dynamic HSE

I’ve had the cheap compressors and I had a £100 Ring 900 unit which worked well. The issue with that was the on off switch is on the compressor but the pressure gauge was at the tyre. You had to pump over and switch off to see if you’d pumped to the right target pressure and if you hadn’t you had to switch on again and guess at which point to turn it off again. Not a problem if it’s next to the compressor but a royal pain if it’s the other side. The ARB unit is super quick and ready to go. Just plug the hose into the chuck and it’s pumping tyres. The double must be incredible. 24MY D300 130 X-Dynamic HSE Santorini Black
