You don't have the permanent 12V supply to the cluster, so the cluster loses power instantly when ignition switch off and is "frozen".
Normally, the cluster has permanent 12V power and can gracefully park the needles when ignition switched off. Check fuse 30 which supplies permanent 12V to pin 1 of the cluster (purple+brown wire). Martin 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top 2015 D90 XS SW |
