Help with map region

I have a Defender from the US and now im in the middle east
In Kuwait
And want to download Middle east maps cause maps doesn’t work now

A silly question if i downloaded a local region map from the website
Using my friends car vin number

And upload it to a USB stick will it update if i plug it in my car ?

If not how can some Some garages download different regions

On the the defender? 22MY Defender 110 XS , Carpathian grey
