Talking of nonsense motorsports, one that stands out for me is drifting! What an absolute load of sh!te. Let’s just burn rubber shall we?

Yes, I agree. How to wreck a pair of tyres.

Getting back to Formula 1, do they not take three artics full of tyres to each race? I know they don't all get used, but a large proportion do and they are a one race commodity.

It's very dangerous though, to alienate one area of anything, be it leisure, hobby, sport (amateur or professional) pointing the finger of pollution when so many other things in our lives are probably just as bad or worse for the environment.

Saying all that, I will point my finger at another. The Olympics. France is trying oh so very hard to run an Olympics this year which doesn't involve building new everything, but historically, the use of Olympic facilities after the games has been horrendously wasteful.

I still don't think a few old tractors being driven a few miles for charity a few weekends every year will make the difference in saving our planet. The same could be said for heritage railways. What is the point? Do we need them? Steam engines. Do we need to run them? The world without running our heritage will be an extremely dull place.

It's crazy that nobody ever talks about video streaming/data centres for the Internet that poke out the same amount of CO2 as the airline industry. Instead, it's all about ICE vehicles, let alone a tractor run doing good for the local community. Jumped ship to reliability - Mitsubishi L200

As I mentioned earlier we have two elections here this Friday, one for the European Parliament and the second for electing local county councillors. If the GREEN PARTY call canvassing I will press them on where they stand on the issue. We have only had two candidates call personally so far. Between the two elections there must be in excess of two dozen candidates. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

I do not know the member's name, all I know is that when the Kerry tractor run took place the GREEN Party were not happy with it.

But you cannot provide any evidence of this. Good to know.
