[For Sale] 2013 (63) Plate 2.2tdci Puma 110 High Capacity
Putting the feelers out to sell my Wallis Defenders Built Hi-Cap then modified further to suit my Bicycle Repair business needs and make it that bit more reliable given the 2.2 dpf known foibles. I will add more pictures in due course.
Owned since October 2021 now on 94600 miles, bought on 78k, it had done 72k in the first 3 years of it's life I believe either in Welsh Forestry or Council ownership it then did very little until Wallis transformed it in their usual manner, Stage 1 remap, tune, service, cosmetic enhancements, soundproofing, interior works, XS seats, cubby box etc and it was a great straight example of a high cap hence why I bought it. It's also featured in The Landy magazine.
On collecting the vehicle and driving it North I dropped it off at Strathearn Engineering where I had it serviced & checked over, new DPF filter, Ashcroft MT82 upgrade, HD half shafts, Allisport Hardboost pipe & ITG air filter, Lof road spec clutch kit & power master, extra security measures mostly from Optimill & LRD, Focal Audio install, Lazer ST4 Lights, VGS fixed rear glass, reverse camera, Old Man emu dampers, extreme 4x4 lowering springs (went too low so have Gywn Lewis spacers to raise to around .5" lower but level), 30mm spacers on the rear, mudguard install, the list goes on.
Earlier this year I had it fully undercoated & sealed using Dinnitrol products.
The back has a Sliding Systems 3 bike tray that is a superb bit of kit and allows me to transport bicycles for repair, but the tray is a really nice addition with the Truckman canopy that I had painted gloss black to match the vehicle. There is also a swing away front runner wheel carrier fitted.
When I bought it I made the rookie error of knowing I fit in a truck cab but not a Puma Truck Cab!
Wallis Defenders cut a bit of the driver's side centre fascia off, made a fibre glass panel & shelf, trimmed an inch off the fuse box cover under the steering wheel and finished it off extremely well so that it looks factory. The result is I fit easily and comfortably, the test was the 520mile drive home!
It is a great example of a 2.2 Puma High Capacity and a brilliant vehicle, it drives incredibly well, and it has had a fair amount of time and monies spent on it.
Valuation is a tough one but it's a well presented and equipped 110 with no blemishes on its record. Ideally, I'd be looking for around £32,500
