Unfortunately you will need a specialist diagnostic tool to recalibrate the DSC. The Gap IIDTool can do it, as can dealer diagnostic tools.
What you have done in removing the steering wheel, and no doubt the wiper, light and indicator module to pull the dash forward is disturb the steering angle sensor. This video explains all. The unit on the left with the blue plastic ring is the ring non DSC Puma owners see when removing the steering wheel. The unit on the right with the grey plastic ring is for DSC Puma’s. You will see the grey plastic ring when you remove the wheel. That grey ring is used to indicate the steering wheel position. https://www.google.com/url?q=https://m.you...P_QW192DQV |

Hang on, if it's "just" the steering wheel sensor I've recently read a thread about a way to set it without a diagnostic tool - can't remember where or how exactly :-/ Something about turning it all the way to one side and then... (?)

I read something similar, will see if I can find it. However I’m pretty sure you still needed a Nanocom to read the sensor value, then adjust the sensor ring to match a full left, then full right lock.

I didn’t find that thread but I kind of figured the same thing except I couldn’t find the middle even with 30 half turns from the right lock back to the left I’ll have to take it to the shop or find someone with a OBD2 reader. At least with the turns I managed to get it to a point that it doesn’t try use abs whenever I am in first.

Well found Andy, looks like macfank and I remembered bits of the topic, I.e with and without the Nanocom, and with the gap IIDTool , noting that BAS use a version of that tool for their Remote Remap Control tool |
