Tail Light Question...
I like to browse the Land Rover Works Legends stock from time to time and found this pickup. What caught my attention was the rear light config. Just the standard setup but they have the small LR clear lens for the stop/tail and indicators. Indicators i know are used on the fronts of the later defenders but I am assuming they have just used the clear indicator housing and a red bulb for the stop/tail lights above?

I’ve used clear front sidelights (LEP) for indicators all round, although I found a standard sized filament bulb doesn’t fit, so needed to use shallower LED amber bulbs.

This approach would work for the tail / stop lights assuming a shallow enough dual LED bulb is available.

On a separate note, the orange peel on that paintwork doesn’t look great given they’re asking £65k for it!

That’s likely the factory paint too. Andy

That paint doesn’t even look like it’s even had a hand polish, looks like it’s straight out of the spray booth and been sprayed in a temp lower than it should be. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

I’ve found and ordered these myself.

I think this is the answer to the question around clear tail lights

I’ve also used a reverse light on the fog side also and just put an LED red bulb in the fog. 2008 2.4 110 Utility Station Wagon XS.

Fitted this morning.

Much prefer the clean and clear look, without having to go down the LED route. 2008 2.4 110 Utility Station Wagon XS.
