That's great to hear Bowbearer and makes me feel bad thinking Malvern was a bit too far from Norfolk
Maybe I need to make the effort next year. The old LRO Show was really feeling a bit lame at Peterborough, although I never went to the new venue last year. Just too many 'Monster Trucks' for me. Be good to get a 'Land Rover' show worth going to back on the map |

Thats good to hear.
I was at the showground on the Saturday, but over the fence visiting a craft fair my wife wanted to visit, and I hadnt realised the LRM show was the same weekend I booked the tickets (not that she believed me), although in truth I've tended to steer away from Land Rover shows after the tales from others of theft and the ASBO crowds. If it coincides next year I might leave her too it and go for a day out over the fence 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone 2002 - Black Discovery II - Gone 2014 - Montalcino Red 110 XS SW |

We thought the show was a little smaller and quieter than last year... not too many people around when we went on Sunday
Upside... I got to meet Demand exhausts, and see their products in the flesh |

Reminded me of LRO show in the early days, not too commercial.
Everyone was fine on the camping, security and event staff were great. Patrolling the site all day and actively engaging with everyone. Four hours from Norfolk so not too bad. Next year I'll take longer and do some walking in the hills, miss that being a Lancashire Lad. Bumper into Frank Elson, old friend, used to write for all the mags back in the day. Still Grumpy! |

Yes,
We chatted about that. He was keen to do some work to keep his mind occupied. |

I’ll be at the 4x4 Spares Day next weekend selling, but bear in mind it’s not the same event as the title of this thread
Also I’m pretty sure the clocks change next Sunday, so no doubt will catch a few folks out…… |

Oh joy! Have we got to play those silly games again with the clocks!!
I thoroughly dislike the whole charade and yes, it will catch many out. I also drove to South Wales on Friday and realised that Malvern is probably a bit far for a day out from Norfolk 😞 |
