My old thread!
Well I ended up buying a Kranzle K1050?? And it’s been superb, no issues what so ever. Works very well with plenty of power and is user friendly. Mostly brass parts used so no issues with sub zero temps. The hose is flexible (Karcher wound me up!) I also bought the short trigger which is great As mentioned previously it’s pricey but built to last 2016 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 TDV8 2010 110 XS Utility 2.4TDCI 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 (gone) 2007 Discovery HSE TDV6 (gone) 1993 110 csw 200 tdi (gone) 1994 90 HT 300 tdi (gone) 1994 discovery 300tdi (gone) 90 hybrid 3.5 v8 (gone) Range rover bobtail 3.5 v8 (gone) |

I've had two Karchers and enjoyed them but my latest one, the K4, always felt a bit low on pressure. This one was bought just over 6 years ago. Last weekend it truly lost pressure in that it wouldn't go past the 'mix' level. I took it apart, inspected all the usual areas and found nothing to provide insight on what part is to blame.
I took the opportunity to treat myself to a new washer and ended up with an AVA P60 Master. Initial feeling is that it's more robust than a Karcher, well thought out attachments and packs a punch. It is quite a hefty unit as well with many parts being aluminium vs. the plastic you find on the typical Karcher. It was purchased from B&Q and their version is the 'Large' package which provides a few extra bits and compared to the price on AVA's website, a far amount cheaper. I've since washed the patio and it made quick work with the normal fan lance, which telescopes so no need for an extender. I also gave the cars a wash and liked the fact the gun can be used without the typical extender/lance that most have which was a treat. Massively satisfied. https://www.avaofnorway.com/gb/en/pressure...rge-bundle |

I went with a Nilfisk washer, won over by very good reviews for them in comparison to so many negative reviews of more recent Karcher models. And also the fact that this Nilfisk can be run from a bucket when I'm too far away from the tap
![]() Not too noisy, and nice and stable even on our uneven gravel |

I've had a few Karcher pressure washers.
I think they're ok, but I do think the quality has diminished & know mine isn't a long term machine. |
