That is VERY early - it was registered a month after the start of "A" registration letter and AFAIK there were no Y reg 110s other than the prototypes Shocked

Can't find where the VIN number started at the moment.

Its early, but not very early.

5 speed was available from launch, the V8 initally used the LT95 four speed.

There was an option to have selectable four wheel drive, very very rare. I have yet to get my hands on one of those.

There where lots of Y plates I'm afraid, had one myself (ended up chopped up)

Interesting in that mine is registered on the 01/08/83 but has a later vin number AA195261...

Mine appears to have been initially commisioned by Scottish Power and came with optional air brakes and a towing limit of 4 tonnes. Now that would have been fun with a 2.25 NA Diesel Shocked Shocked

After... door glass now fitted. Will eventually find a proper galvanised bumper for it.

Every FE part galvanised or re-galvanised (I have a mate... Thumbs Up ) New Richards chassis, and, sacrilege i know, but now has a 300 tdi fitted.

Hi, this was my old man’s for nearly 20 years, I believe he was the second owner in 1990. It is all original never had door cards, mats or a headlining. He built the rear half of chassis from scratch in about 1991 you might have noticed JDM welded onto each side just above the trailing arm bushes. It was pretty early having a separate belt driven vac pump and the 2.25 diesel as you know.

Where did it end up?

Here’s my hi cap, registered in june 83.
Great great vehicle.

To me, any early One Ten in priceless, putting a value on something like that is very very difficult 2006 TD5110 station wagon
