Meridian Sound.
So my xs has Meridian but the screen only looks like the 1st pic. Very basic. My old D5 had meridian but looked like the 2nd pic with Dolby etc. Am Iissing something?

My G4 shows entertainment as basic with tape am fm. Or something like that.

Speakers say Meridian

Your D5 has the Meridian SURROUND system.

Your Defender has the Meridian system … no surround.

I think that the defender could also have the surround version.

I have exactly the same in my defender and the surround in my D5.

Also... Your second pic is actually from a Jaguar not a LR 😉

Like others have said, you have the standard 11 speaker, 400w Meridian system. Still pretty good, IMO but not as good as the 825w Meridian Surround system in my old 2017 D5. Defenders that have the Meridian Surround no longer have options for the Dolby Pro Logic IIx or the DTS Neo:6 - they just have the settings for stereo and the Meridian Trifield surround. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟏𝟎 𝐒 𝐏𝟑𝟎𝟎 (Pangea Green over Acorn/Lunar)
