Defender damaged by his girl friend.
Came across this today. Seems he let his girlfriend drive it. Only a short distance later it ended up in a ditch wedged roof down. He had put a galvanised chassis on it, roof tent with shower etc. The only thing salvagable from it are, the galvanised chassis, axles and wheels. Seems it was roof down in water. When it was lifted out by the wheels the weight of the water took the roof off. He is working over seas and intends to get it rebuilt when funds permit. The girlfriend got a scratch on her wrist.

That is horrendous - and similarly frightening to other photos of damage posted up here in the past.

It’s really good to know that the lady in question was relatively unharmed.

Many lessons learned here I think. Well certainly some lessons anyway…
